HIPPOPHAE HELLAS currently represents 98 growers M.A.LISAVENKO with a total cultivated area of 160 hectares. The main cultivated varieties are Chuiskaya, Klavdia, Essel, Athina, Altaiskaya and Augoustina.
HIPPOPHAE HELLAS producers come from different sectors of economy as well as self-employed persons, farmers, entrepreneurs, employees, agronomists, etc. Our cultivations located at several regions of Greece and especially in the region of Thessaly, Macedonia and the Peloponnese. Cultivation is carried out with absolute respect for the environment using new innovative techniques and is certified in the quality system GLOBAL G.A.P. and a large percentage in organic farming where the rest will be immediately integrated.
Cultivation from the formation of the field, planting and the entire duration of the production life of the tree is technically supported by the people of GREECE. The collection period is the earliest in the world and productivity results 20 kg/tree are now considered to be among the best in the world as well as the quality characteristics are unique according to the Director of the M.A.Lisavenko Mr. Yuri Zubarev and the World Hippophae Organization (I.S.A.).
